From My Saved No.12
Spring Sartorial Checklist
It’s been a level of nice in New York City that makes me very thankful that I have lived here for years and know it’s not real. I know I have to make the most of my time outside until it reverts to winter. Growing up in Atlanta, spring started on time — which meant, when it was officially spring, it was, in fact, officially spring. Here, we follow a made-up timeline, one that, despite the speed of the city, feels incredibly slow.

I’m using this weather as a chance to think about what I can do now to really prepare for spring sartorially. Having an event last night (with Pooky lighting!) was a good test, and a realization that I do, in fact, “need” that Brady Bag I mentioned a few weeks ago, and that color is making a comeback in my wardrobe (not that it every really stopped).
Cobbler: I’m going to take my J.M. Weston Loafers to Jim’s on 58th and a pair of Martiniano’s to Cowboy in Nolita.
T-Shirts: I’m going to buy a few white and navy t-shirts (I like the cap sleeve and the classic crewneck) from Los Angeles Apparel. They fit the best, wash well, and are a good-enough price you won’t be annoyed if you spill.

classic crewneck, cap sleeve Sneakers: I’ve been wearing Stan Smiths I’ve had for years, and they’re great. But sometimes, they’re a little too white. I’m going to get this pair of Nike’s I wrote about a few weeks ago. This also means I need to get new no-show socks, people like Bombas. For ankle socks, I like the Her Socks from Le Bon Shoppe.
Purse: I won’t repeat myself, but I will be buying this bag in brown. I like this from Ann Mashburn as well.

I've had this bag since 2021
That’s all. See, you don’t need to do much!
One of my favorite old-house follows!
The gingham pants are on my list. Maybe yellow or green?
I’ve wanted these shoes for probably six years.
Adam Bray is one of my favorite interior designers. His schemes are incredible. His home tour is worth a watch (I’ve watched it multiple times).
One of my favorite houses in Atlanta.
A nice upgrade from a claw clip.

Adam Bray home tour is at the front of my mind as well!!! Beyond
